It is speaker volume and clarity as well as when you hold it up to ear are each exceptional. This is a outstanding basic phone if you are seeking for standard functions only. It really is nicely sized, not too bulky to fit in a tiny pocket, and is highly light. Connected to my bluetooth ear-piece readily, and worked nicely. The only thing is the telephone is made of plastic which makes me want to get a rubberized cover for it in case it falls or gets scratched. More than all I am really pleased with this phone!
